On May 30, 2026, at the Centrul Județean de Cultură și Creație in Călărași, Asociația POT SĂ AJUT organized the 7th edition of Împreună în Timp, an event dedicated to single-parent families, built around art, emotional connection, and time spent together.
We celebrated International Children's Day with 550 children and parents, who took part in an experience where music, painting, dance, and play became tools for bringing generations closer together, through a series of artistic and interactive experiences, built in an accessible format that encouraged active participation.
We welcomed participants alongside mascots Sonic and Ariel, and the event opened with artistic moments performed by the Flores Campi vocal group, Darina, and the Bărăganul folk ensemble. The children enjoyed a collective painting activity coordinated by painter George Tanasă, which resulted in a peony painting dedicated to the mothers in the audience.
A special moment was delivered by artist Walter Ghicolescu, who took the stage for a solo performance, followed by a participatory musical segment with the Dacii Liberi group. Participants received percussion instruments at the entrance and became part of the show, turning the hall into a space of rhythm, energy, and shared interaction.
The atmosphere was carried throughout the afternoon by Teddy (Toader Păun), the event's host and ambassador of good deeds, who facilitated the dialogue between the stage and the audience.
An initiative carried out with the support of Asociația Provident pentru Educație and Provident România, as part of the INVIZIBILII program.

Quality time spent together has a special power: it brings peace, draws hearts closer, and reminds children that they're not alone, and parents that they're doing everything they can, even when it's hard. In every place we've reached — Bucharest, Alba Iulia, Constanța, Ploiești, and other corners of the country — we've felt the same deep need for real support and community.
Initiatives dedicated to single-parent families bring not just help, but hope too. A hope that shows in children's eyes when they are listened to, and in parents' smiles when they feel they aren't carrying the burden alone.
Through the Invizibilii program and together with Asociația POT SĂ AJUT, we've created a platform where art becomes the language through which children and adults find each other. Here, we learn to build bridges, to look at one another with kindness, and to rediscover the joy of spending time together, away from screens.

Why it matters
In Romania, many single-parent families struggle with a lack of time spent with one another, the pressure of daily responsibilities, and the difficulty of finding accessible settings for emotional connection between parents and children.
Through the Împreună în Timp program, we aim to create experiences that improve parent-child relationships, using art and creative activities as means of communication, expression, and closeness.
Educational and recreational programs dedicated to parents and children help strengthen family relationships and create contexts where emotions, dialogue, and human connection can arise naturally.
Through initiatives like this, children and parents have the chance to:
- spend quality time together
- express emotions in a safe, creative environment
- strengthen their relationship through shared activities
- discover education through art and play
- feel part of a community that supports them
At the Călărași edition, every moment was designed to encourage genuine relating between children and parents and to turn family time into meaningful encounters.
Teddy, ambassador of good deeds
MC and ambassador of good deeds, Teddy (Toader Păun) chose to stay close to vulnerable communities and turn time spent together into moments that matter. A man in search of people, experiences and places #DeMilioane, Teddy stands by us as we do #WeCareTogether for seniors and single-parent families.

Impact
Împreună în Timp, edition 7, in Călărași brought together over 550 children and parents in a safe, accessible space dedicated to emotional connection, creativity, and relationships built through dialogue and closeness. This edition offered a setting where families could interact, create, and learn together, through artistic and educational workshops that encouraged emotional expression in a natural way.
Through music, painting, dance, and participatory activities, the gathering supported the strengthening of relationships between children and parents, offering concrete, accessible alternatives for spending family time. Initiatives like this highlight the role of education through art as a method of emotional, relational, and social support, showing that simple experiences, lived within a community, can have a real impact on family dynamics.
The event was made possible thanks to the volunteers, partners, and participants who constantly contribute to creating settings where people feel seen, heard, and supported.
